The Literacy Crisis: Black Students, Illiteracy, and Civil Rights - 1st floor of Lovejoy Library
Abrioanna Humphrey, Program Director for SouthSide Early Childhood Center and Education Chair for the NAACP of St. Louis City, will discuss the NAACP's efforts to combat low literacy rates among Black students at St. Louis Public Schools.
